I shot my first Jewish wedding a few months ago for Gina & Paul, and the Jewish culture and customs are quite fascinating! When Stacy and her mother came to me about shooting their wedding film I was super-excited to spend another action packed night with them! I also got to work with Mason Fischer Photography again, and it was a pleasure as usual.
From the time I got there, until it was time to leave you could just feel the energy from everyone, and especially from Stacy and Justin. I mean when the band is packing up and there are still guests partying you know everyone had a great time! We got the awesome opportunity to work in a same day edit for Stacy and Justin that closed out the night perfectly. The guests got to see Stacy and Justin getting prepared for their ceremony and even the joy on their faces as they danced together as husband and wife. Enjoy their same day edit!

Jamie & Chris’ wedding was another all DSLR shoot, and a fun one it was! Dodging April storms, the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. Everyone of course had a wonderful time. Check out their movie trailer below:

Jenny & Mike’s wedding was amazing! Having never shot at Vulcan Park in Birmingham before, it was a rewarding experience for me also. I never thought of Vulcan Park as a wedding venue, but thanks to wonderful flowers by Hothouse Design Studios and unbeatable planning & coordination by Rowell Events, the final setup was gorgeous! I also had the wonderful opportunity to work with photographer Mason Fisher, him and his assistant didn’t miss a single detail and were a total joy to work with.
Jenny & Mike are one of those couples you can just ’see’ the happiness simply by looking at them. It’s so obvious they love being around each other. It was hard to catch them not smiling! So, around comes 6PM, time for the ceremony and what happens? The bottom of the sky falls out! It starts one of the heaviest downpours of the season, while everyone was outside getting ready for the ceremony!
Despite the rain, thunderstorms, and blown over tables, the family, wedding party, guests, and even Jenny & Mike couldn’t help but have a great time anyway! Check out their Same Day Edit we produced for them and play at their reception. It was a huge hit!

How could you pick a better day than the last day of the year to celebrate such a special day? Tujuana & Ken did just that. With their New Years Eve wedding, they had an awesome ceremony, and a fun reception with some truly awesome food at the Vestavia Hills Country Club, just a few miles from Birmingham.
They ended their evening with a shower of sparklers and a ride in a classic auto from Coats Classic Cars. Check out a few of the snapshots from their upcoming wedding film!
